The Haiti Nexus Journal of Engineering and Technology is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation in the fields of engineering, applied sciences, technology, and design. 4. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Language
Manuscripts may be submitted in English or French. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is grammatically correct and professionally edited.
Formatting Requirements
Authors should prepare their manuscripts using:

- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Double line spacing
- Margins of 2.54 cm (1 inch)
- Continuous page numbering

The journal recommends the IEEE or APA citation style (7th edition). Authors must ensure consistency throughout the manuscript.

6. Tables, Figures, and Supplementary Material
Tables
- Tables must be editable and not submitted as images.
- Each table must have a descriptive title.
- Tables must be cited in the text.
Figures
- Figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
- Accepted formats: PNG, TIFF, JPEG, EPS.
- Figure captions must be submitted separately.
Supplementary Material
Supplementary material may include datasets, source code, technical schematics, CAD files, demonstration videos, or additional figures and tables.
7. Ethical Considerations
Research Integrity
Authors must ensure the integrity, transparency, and reproducibility of their work. The journal encourages the sharing of data and code that enable the replication of results.
Human Subjects
Research involving human participants (trials, surveys, usability studies) must comply with institutional and international ethical standards.
Safety and Technical Compliance
Research involving testing, prototypes, or devices must comply with applicable safety standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

8. Authorship Criteria

10. Prior Publication and Preprints

13. Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support publication and editorial operations, the journal applies the following processing charges upon manuscript acceptance:

- Non-members: USD 250
No submission fee is charged before peer review.
APCs are non-refundable once production has begun.

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the article.
