Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Manuscript Format

1. File Format:

- Manuscripts should be submitted as editable Word documents (doc or .docx). Double lined and numbered, font-size 12 and font family Times New Roman.

2. Title Page:

- Include the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact information.

3. Abstract:

- Provide a concise abstract (maximum 350 words) summarizing the research aims, methods, key findings, and conclusions.

4. Keywords:

- List 3-5 keywords that will help with the indexing of your paper.

5. Main Text:

- Introduction: Present the research problem, objectives, and relevant background.

- Methods: Clearly describe the methodology used, including study design, materials, and procedures.

- Results: Report findings with appropriate use of tables, figures, and statistical analysis.

- Discussion: Interpret the results, highlighting significance and implications for the field.

- Conclusion: Summarize the main outcomes and potential for future research.

6. Figures and Tables:

- Submit high-quality, labeled figures and tables in separate files. Ensure they are referenced in the text. All tables and figures should be numbered appropriately.

7. References:

- Use a consistent citation style, ensuring all references in the text match the bibliography. For example:

- Journal Article: Author(s). (Year). Title. Journal Name, Volume (Issue), Pages. DOI (if available).

- Book: Author(s). (Year). Book Title. Publisher.

8. Supplementary Material:

- Additional materials (e.g., datasets, videos) can be submitted as supplementary files.

Declaration of competing interests

The author(s) should declare whether there are competing financial or personal interests that could have appeared to influence the work reported in the manuscript.

If any conflicts exist: The author(s) should declare the competing interests as follows: [provide details of financial or personal relationships that may bias the study].

Declaration of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies in the Writing Process

The authors should declare whether during the preparation of this manuscript, they used AI tool/service for generation of text, data analysis and interpretations. If AI was used it is the author’s responsibility to review and edit the content to ensure accuracy and take full responsibility for the final content of the manuscript.

If no AI was used, the Authors must declare the following:

No AI tools were used in generating scientific conclusions, data analysis, or interpretations.

Peer Review Process

Submissions are subject to single-anonymized peer review by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial board will make the final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the scientific quality and relevance of the manuscript.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
