About the Journal
The Haiti Nexus Journal of Geosciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the study of the Earth, its processes, and its resources. It publishes research in geology, geochemistry, geophysics, seismology, hydrology, hydrogeology, geomorphology, soil science, climatology, marine and coastal geosciences, and geomatics.
The journal highlights studies on the geodynamic setting of Haiti and the Caribbean Basin, the natural hazards to which the country is exposed (earthquakes, landslides, floods, and cyclones), and the management of water, soil, and mineral resources. By bridging fundamental and applied research, the journal aims to inform decision-making in disaster risk reduction and land-use planning while contributing to international scientific debates in the geosciences.
